Falenn, Goddess of Music and Dance.

Falenn was the first Tamaraith Bard. She was the most beautiful Tamaraith woman to walk the highlands and her music was the finest ever heard. She wrote the first histories of the clansmen and trained the first bards to carry on that knowledge. When the dragon Rothgar tried to stop her, she enchanted him with her music allowing her pupils to escape with their lives.

The church of Falenn is small and has very little political power outside the Highlands. Only major cities will have a temple dedicated to Falenn. All other places only have a shrine, run by a single priest. Priests of Falenn are trained alongside the Highland Bards at the Trevenan Bardic School.

The church is governed by a council of High Priests. They all bear the rank of Master Bard as well as their priestly rank. Prospective priests of Falenn undergo the two year bardic training followed by five years of extra training in the mysteries of Falenn before becoming fully fledged priests. Priests of Falenn wear purple robes with white edging for the high priests. The head of the council and church is known as The Voice.

Offerings to Falenn are made by actors and musicians prior to a performance. They are also popular at parties and festivals, where a blessing by a priest is said to bring good luck to the party goers. Falenn's aspect as a goddess of knowledge, makes her popular with mages.
